It’s still pretty quiet in the woods, at least when it comes to real estate. But at least we’ve got two new listings! One of them, 2701 Ross Rd, is at $499,900 the currently cheapest house for sale in all of Chevy Chase. And it’s a nice one that has been in the same family since it was built in 1951.
Just today, another new and well-priced listing came up at 8103 Meadowbrook Lane – a split level with some pretty mid-century modern features that’s offered at $575,000 (see pictures here). A new rental (2617 East West Highway) is available for $2,850.
2701 Ross Rd — currently the cheapest house in Chevy Chase MD
Since our last update, one home closed on the Silver Spring side of RCF: 2404 East West Highway. It went for asking price, but with a seller closing credit of nearly $15k. We also had one price reduction; the home at 2635 Colston Drive was just reduced from $737,500 to $699,888 (perhaps their lucky number?!). It’s been on the market for four weeks.
